Using the Silhouette for Planning!

If you have been following me on Instagram and Facebook, you might have seen lots of pictures of my silhouette portrait and the stickers I have been making! I am in love with this machine. It is best! I can literally use it for everything! I am still learning as I go and I will be sharing my designs for free as a printable here on my blog.

First and foremost, this machine is absolutely perfect for getting perfect kiss cut sticker sheets! Sure you can just buy tons of stickers already made, but wouldn't it be nice to have your own customized stickers? Just the way you like, the way you want, the way you've always imagined! Well, now I can make any kind of stickers or labels for our planners! You can use their designer studio to get the perfect sized label to fit your Erin Condren,  Plum Paper Planner, Day Designer, Filofax, Kikki-K, whatever you have! It will be so much easier to cut these section heading stickers and these banner planner stickers! They have all kinds of sticker paper for us to use too! There's clear sticker paper, white sticker paper, gold foil, silver foil, adhesive washi sheets, and sooo much more!

Can you imagine what you can make. I'm thinking dashboards, custom cut quotes, bookmarks, cute paper clips, and ... yeah I can go on forever...

I also made some labels for my Erin Condren Address Book to use as a password keeper. These were super tiny and would've taken me years to cut by hand!

Here is another set of Silhouette Stickers that I have made...cute weather stickers! I was so proud of myself for getting it to cut so nicely on my first try. I just left the default settings and it worked perfectly!

I quickly learned about offsetting and made my cuts even more precise and perfect!

The silhouette isn't only for stickers however, there are so many digital designs in their shop that I bought with the free $10 download card in the box! Some that I think are perfect for planning include the:

That's crazy right?! Especially the 3D ones, you can make all kinds of organizers, drawers and more to store all of our little planning essentials! I totally wanted all of those organizers! Look at those chevron cut dividers, and cute stickers. The possibilities are literally endless!
Here are some dividers I made using the personal sized dividers design, I adjusted it a bit to fit my A6 and they fit pretty well!

I am also currently using some of their designs to decorate my son's first birthday coming up really soon! We are going with a vintage airplane theme!  I plan on using their tattoo sticker paper to print out "Jax" with an airplane as a party favor hehe. And I bought their Metallic Sketch Pens to write and draw a design on the favor bags. I will show that in another blog post though!

I hope you enjoyed this post and find more ways to use your Silhouette!

Day Per Page with Heart Checklists Planning Insert

I am constantly searching for the PERFECT insert. I have made tons and am never satisfied, this was pretty close though. But I think I prefer the day on two pages better. I like to write EVERYTHING I do. It makes me feel more productive. So these pages won't look exactly like mine unless you have an A6 planner. Different sizes called for slightly different layouts. By the way, would you be interested in a tutorial on how to make your own personal customized inserts? I know if it weren't for customizing my own inserts I would not be happy. Let me know in the comments below!

I really like the heart checklists on this, and that there was a space for every aspect of your life! The only size that was able to accomodate for the half hours were the A5 size. Everything else is only by the hour. Anyways hope you like these and downloads are below!

My Mulberry Planner Setup

Hello everyone! I really wanted to show you what was inside my personal planner. I am currently using both my mulberry agenda and my erin condren planners. I am in between planners and can't decide how to use them! It had been working perfectly for me for months, but now I feel like it's just not productive anymore. I was thinking about using the mulberry as my everyday planner and just the erin condren as a journal/memory/scrapbook, but I really enjoy planning my weeks in my EC at the same time. The Mulberry is the perfect size for me and I love carrying around, but it's so hard to decorate and make cute since it's so tiny, and since I've changed inserts. Maybe I should just go back to my original inserts instead where I was using the day on two pages. Right now I am using my day per page (because I wanted to waste less paper). ahhhh I am stuck in a rut! Any suggesstions? Anyways on to the planner setup, before I switch it up completely...(will post an updated setup if and when I am happy with that).

This is my Mulberry Oak Croco Planner. I use it as a personal take everywhere planner. It is the perfect size - A6. About 5x7 inches paper size is about 4x6. It is shorter but wider than a Personal Filofax. It's all leather and feels soft and amazing. I luckily found it at a thrift store for only $1.99. No way would I be able to actually afford this planner at regular price. I like to use this planner as my brain dump and go to planner for all of my running ideas.

Front Pockets: Here I have my stickers in a target note card. I no longer keep that receipts folder in here though. I also keep a few samples of washi tape cards, page flags, and paper clips in the front pockets.

Dashboard: This is my current dashboard, I just placed a cute project life card with a cute Kate Spade paperclip. On the back of this I have some sticky notes for quick notes!

I also sometimes use my dashboard to keep track of my online purchases to remind myself to check the tracking on these purchases.

My First Tab - Info: In this section I just have my basic info page in case anything happens to this planner and some maps that came with the Mulberry.

Second Tab - To Do: In this section I have some To Do Lists, and I trimmed and hole punched some Notepads to make other to-lists.

Third Tab - Pinspiration: In this section, I have some quotes (categorized by type), and some blank note papers so I can write down some ideas I see on Pinterest.

Fourth Tab - Blog: In the section I jot down my ideas for my blog, try to plan my posts, and also where  I sketch out my printable drafts.

Fifth & Last Side Tab - Schedule: In this section I have some month on two page inserts that I printed from Winter Victorian on Facebook, and also an appointments printable, where I write down quick appointments before scheduling it into my calendar. I love this system for jotting down a quick appointment!

Top Tabs! I have a lot of tabs! I use washi tape and a permanent marker to write my sections in case I want to ever change it out.

My First Top Tab - Diary: This section houses my daily pages where I plan every night before. I love these pages!

I actually don't have that budget section anymore since I have a wallet planner now, so I will just skip that section.

Lists Tab: In this section I have my lists. I have wishlists, projects, kids, and meals. I used project life cards to make sub-dividers. I love being able to quickly go here and find an activity to do with my kids or meals that I must try eventually.

So I hope you enjoyed this post. No planner setup is ever the same or perfect for everyone. I am constantly changing mine up to better suit my needs. This post is just to help you get some ideas for your planner setup.

Calendar Journaling Cards

I'm excited to share with you these cute and colorful calendar cards that I've made! They are 3x4 inches, perfect size for planners. They can be used for tracking no spend, no soda, no coffee, work outs, monthly goals, and anything else really! You can even place these in your project life projects.

To use in your planners just coil clip it in your Erin Condren Planner or hole punch it into your Filofax!  Easy peasy! I hope you like these and enjoy!

I'd recommend printing these on cardstock, be sure to print at actual size. There are two files to print, if you want to print each individually use the individual file cards which are on 3 by 4 paper, or if you'd like to print on a full page use the 8.5 by 11 files.

Simple & Blank Week On Two Pages Inserts

Here is a simple unlined week on two pages inserts for our planners! I love the simplicity of it, just write down the dates and plan away!

This is great since it leaves lots of room for creativity. Decorate it by using washi tapes and stickers and change it up as you please.
